The Philippine Nurses Association of New England, (PNANE) is a nonprofit professional organization whose objective is to uphold the image and preserve the cultural contributions of Filipinos and Filipino American Nurses in the New England area. Founded in 1990, PNANE is committed to volunteerism, stewardship of professional talent, expertise and experience by developing programs that focus on the professional needs of its members and health care needs of the community. Through its programs and collaboration with other organizations, the Philippine Nurses Association of New England, Inc. will maintain the purposes below.
Every year community service projects are expanded to reach out to the most deserving of free health care screening programs. In collaboration with other major state agencies and charitable organizations these services are provided to diverse groups in the community.
Continuing Education Programs are also provided to all members two to three times a year. These CEU programs are aimed to enhance the educational and professional knowledge and experience of all nurse members.
Twice a year PNANE sponsors two very special events. To dedicate to all its members and in celebration of Nurses Week in May , PNANE holds its annual "Nurses Night". In October of each year, the "PNANE Anniversary Ball" is usually celebrated. Both these events will give members the chance to socialize and network.
In order to finance PNANE's community service projects, fundraising activities are being launched to generate financial support. To all PNANE supporters we thank you so much.
